The Bag Lady is a company that is devoted to prolonging the life of your canoe. Boat Bags are durable covers (see pic below) that protect the hull of your canoe from the elements. Previous owners attest to less darkening and aging of Kevlar, less oxidation on fiberglass, less drying of Royalex, shiny surfaces being maintained, less wear on wood canvas, and a higher resale value... proving bags are worth the cost. Bags are made of polyester fibers, which is excellent against ultraviolet damage and the effects of the environment. Your bag will experience some fading but better the bag get beat up than your boat. Face it, your boat is your baby. Take care of it.

The Bag Lady has been producing bags for all the major companies, including all Wenonah models, Savage River, Crozier, Ranger, Bourquin, Bell Canoes, Mad River, Old Town, Clipper and our latest new addition, PLACID BOATWORKS . We also can lovingly cover your hand-crafted model of canoes or kayak as well. If your manufacturer is not listed, it is not a problem, we can do it. The BAG LADY is one smart chick!. Color choices include medium blue, forest green, light tan, purple, black, and lemon yellow- not pictured here.

In addition to the above colors we also have others that can be used for striping. Gold, teal, gray, salmon, and possibly others. Let your imagination run wild. Be the paddler at the event, whom everyone recognizes!

I had no problem at all with the cover and my partner loved the racing stripes .... the clips I referred to are those attached to bungees going to the draw cord. My first cover (probably 1989) came with metal hooks and without bow and stern reinforcement where the cloth failures finally did
occur. I was pleased to find the top bow slit was still there and even a bit longer....I find it to be an important aid in pulling on the cover. The double paddle cover with the top draw string and handle straps was very nice and has also evolved over the years. Again, thanks for the well thought out products. Bill T.

I know you are on vacation but I have to tell you it was a perfect fit. I put it on the canoe and then , put it on the Subaru and took off at about 75 and it just hummed along.

You should be very proud of your workmanship and accuracy. I will wear it with pride to the big Wooden Boat Show in Alexandria, Minnesota. You betcha !!

Many thanks for the canoe bag in forest green for my Wenonah Adirondack. I just got a chance to put it on, as we had a blizzard this past week with 30" of snow. The canoe cover fits perfectly, looks terrific, and I love the overall design. You have thought of everything - right down to the little "fly" in the bow, where a line can exit the cover to tie the canoe to the front grill of my Ford Ranger when car-topping.

The color is perfect - quiet and unobtrusive. The canoe will blend right into the evergreens that are in back of the canoe rack.

Just got our Northwind canoe cover yesterday (Gary Wi. order, but I'm the one that tracked you down). It is fabulous, fits like a glove, and definitely well worth the price!

Nothing else on my web search even looked remotely close. I was afraid I'd have to make one myself, but that would be reinventing the wheel, for me.

COLORS of Boat Bags: Royal Blue, Light tan with a thin purple stripe running horizontally, solid tan, and light gray, forest green. May also have Purple, Yellow, , but need to check first as this may be in limited quantity and may only be enough for striping..

Paddle bags: The Bag Lady also makes the best paddle bag in the business. Each bag is made of Polar Fleece (coated nylon also available) from that great manufacturer in the East who was the originator of Polar Fleece-by contract we can't say their name. The bag closes with a drawstring, has a handle and small hanger from which it can hang. Most importantly, each bag will carry two paddles. The paddles are lovingly protected by a barrier of Vellux velour which divides the bag. Bags come in a black, royal blue, or purple, occasionally other choices and are available for canoe paddles and breakdown kayak paddles as well. Cost is $35.00 for bent shaft paddle up to 54 inch length, slightly more for straight shaft paddles (specify length), and $40.00 on depending on options for breakdown kayak paddles. Fleece colors vary, call for color choices. Many in stock. Bags that hold multiple paddles can also be constructed.

Paddle bags can also be made of nylon coated fabric if you wish. Just let us know and we will gladly help.

Tiller and rudder bags for your sailboat are also available if you wish. The Bag Lady will be happy to help with your custom project, heck, she recently did a Golf Cart! Soon to attempt a tractor bag. We will let you know how it turns out.
