Water Works can handle both fiberglass and kevlar repairs. We have many years experience with a variety of makes and models of kayaks and canoes. If you need ABS/Royalex or Crosslink polyethylene boats repaired, you've come to the right dealer. Often we can help you to customize your
boat to make it more comfortable for you.
Need the gunnels on your canoe replaced, we can do that too and probably have what you need in stock. Most repair parts are in stock for Old Town and other canoes.
Repair materials for wood canvas canoes can be ordered through Water Works, including paint and special epoxies. The Audette(s), owners of Water Works, are experts on Old Town Canoes. Both are highly experienced paddlers. Sue Audette is the author of the history of the Old Town Canoe Company (The Old Town Canoe Company: Our First Hundred Years by Susan Audette with David Baker, Tilbury House Publishers 1998).. It is available now at L.L. Bean and in bookstores and in the shops of boat dealers. We do not do wood repairs but look below... We can refer you to two extraordinary craftsmen who do wood repairs, Ken Morrisroe of Brooklyn, CT and Schuyler Thompson of Norfolk, CT. Both are located in Connecticut.
